Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Welcome to CutBloke. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CutBloke website and app (the "Platform"), operated by cutbloke.com ("CutBloke", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About CutBloke
a. CutBloke is an online marketplace that lets salon owners ("Salons") create salon profiles and list their services, and lets customers ("Customers") find and book those services.
b. CutBloke provides the technology platform only. We are not a salon and do not provide any hair, beauty, or grooming services. Each service booked through CutBloke is provided solely by the Salon, and the agreement for that service is between the Customer and the Salon.
2. Accounts
a. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make bookings.
b. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.
c. You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@cutbloke.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
d. You may not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
3. Terms for Salons
a. Subscription. Salons must pay a recurring subscription fee to list on CutBloke. Fees are based on salon size, as shown on our pricing page at the time of sign-up or renewal.
b. Billing and renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period and are charged through our third-party payment processor to the payment method on file until cancelled. If a payment fails, we may suspend the Salon's listing until payment is made.
c. Cancellation and refunds. Salons may cancel at any time and will keep access until the end of the current paid period. Subscription fees are non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy.
d. Price changes. We may change subscription fees by giving at least 30 days' notice. The new fee will apply from the next billing period.
e. Listings. Salons are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, service descriptions, prices, availability, and photos, and must have the right to use any content they upload.
f. Services and customer payments. Salons are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and delivery of their services, for holding any required licences, and for complying with all applicable laws. Customer payments for services go directly to the Salon, and the Salon is responsible for any taxes, refunds, and disputes relating to those payments.
g. Cancellation policy. Each Salon must have a clear cancellation, no-show, and refund policy, make it available to Customers on request, and honour it.
h. Customer data. Salons may use Customer information received through CutBloke only to provide booked services and must protect it in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
4. Terms for Customers
a. Bookings. When you book a service, you are entering into an agreement directly with the Salon. Prices and service details are set by the Salon.
b. Payments. Payments for services are made directly to the Salon, in the way the Salon accepts payment. CutBloke does not take payment for salon services. Any price shown at the time of booking is set by the Salon.
c. Cancellations and refunds. Cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, and refunds are governed by the Salon's own policy. Please check it with the Salon before booking. See our Refund Policy for more information.
d. Conduct. Please arrive on time, treat Salon staff respectfully, and let the Salon know in advance about any allergies or health conditions relevant to the service.
5. Content
a. By posting content on the Platform, you grant CutBloke a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, use, and promote that content in connection with the Platform.
b. We may remove any content that breaches these Terms.
6. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fake listings or bookings.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten any other user or Salon staff.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse Platform content or data without our permission.
- Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited advertising.
7. Intellectual Property
a. All content and materials on the Platform, including text, logos, graphics, design, and software, are owned by CutBloke or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Salon-uploaded content remains the property of the Salon.
b. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or modify any CutBloke content without our prior written consent.
8. Suspension and Termination
a. We may suspend or terminate any account, or remove any listing, if we reasonably believe the user has breached these Terms, acted fraudulently, or harmed other users or CutBloke.
b. If a Salon's account is terminated for breach of these Terms, subscription fees already paid will not be refunded.
c. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. See the account deletion steps on our Support page.
9. Limitation of Liability
a. CutBloke is not a party to any agreement between Customers and Salons and is not responsible for the services provided by Salons, including their quality, safety, timing, pricing, or any injury, loss, or damage arising from them.
b. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
c. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CutBloke and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to a Salon will not exceed the subscription fees paid by that Salon in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Disputes Between Users
Disputes about a service, payment, or refund should be resolved directly between the Customer and the Salon. CutBloke may, at its discretion, help communicate between the parties or take action on accounts, but is not obliged to resolve the dispute.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and we will notify Salons of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
